Dean A. Birkeland, CPA

Principal

Dean Birkeland joined the team at CarlsonSV in June 1988. As an audit principal, Dean primarily works on audits for governmental entities, making sure to present the results to our clients in an understandable and actionable way. He also has years of experience with not-for-profits and cooperatives.

Dean received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Moorhead State University. He is an avid follower of the Vikings, Twins, Timberwolves and The Wild. He and his wife love golfing, boating and spending time at the lake.
