Greg Burkhardt joined CarlsonSV in 2026 following the merger of his accounting and audit practice, and he now leads our Mankato office. Integrity is at the core of Greg’s leadership. He is a decorated combat veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and a former Staff Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. Greg began his career as a food chemist after earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Minnesota State University–Mankato. Following his military service, he earned his master’s degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater and joined his father and brother in the family’s accounting practice.
Greg remains active in supporting veterans as they transition to civilian life, focusing on health, purpose and community engagement. Greg and his wife, Jennifer, have three children. Their oldest son serves in the Marine Corps. As a family, they enjoy traveling for their kids’ sporting events and spending time together at the lake.
