Jeffrey Burkhardt, CPA

Jeff Burkhardt joined CarlsonSV in 2026 after merging in his practice to establish our Annandale and Mankato offices. He brings more than 30 years of experience in public accounting, providing trusted guidance to individuals, small businesses, and not-for-profit organizations. Jeff’s work spans tax planning and compliance, accounting, and financial reporting, with a focus on delivering practical solutions that help clients meet their goals with confidence and clarity. He views his work as holistic, helping clients understand how a decision today could impact tax matters several years from now. He appreciates clients who reach out regularly and entrust him with important business or personal financial questions.

A graduate of St. Cloud State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Jeff has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1994. He operated his own firm for more than two decades, which helps him advise business owners at all stages. Jeff is rigorous in updating his continuing professional education each year to stay current on evolving tax laws and accounting standards.

Jeff enjoys camping, fishing and serving as the finance chair and a eucharistic minister at his church. He is also a big fan of Star Wars and Star Trek and science fiction. Jeff and his wife live in Clearwater and have two children.
